Soil Testing and Fertiliser Formulation Process
Soil Sampling
We begin by collecting representative soil samples from your site. Our team can guide you through the process or handle the sampling directly to ensure accuracy.
Laboratory Analysis
The samples are sent to our partner agricultural laboratory, where they undergo detailed testing. We measure key soil properties including pH level, organic matter content, macronutrients (N, P, K), and micronutrients (Ca, Mg, S, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, B).
Nutrient Recommendation and Formulation
Based on the lab analysis, our experts design a bespoke fertiliser formulation. Adjustments are made to balance nutrient ratios and improve specific soil deficiencies or pH imbalances.
Production and Delivery
Your custom-formulated fertiliser is blended in our Clare facility and delivered to your location within 4–6 weeks. We ensure that every batch meets our stringent quality standards before dispatch.

Decant 50
Litres from

Add the 50 litres from
step 2 and mix with 850
litres of water in a
standard tractor drum

Spray as required to
approx. 10 acres

Standard sprayer nozzles are perfectly fine - no special nozzles are required
Spray as close to the soil as possible & don’t apply in very windy conditions
BlackGold is NOT a foliar spray that is applied directly to the leaves. It must be
sprayed directly to the soil.
Once IBC is opened, the product will last several years
